The following provides a description of Specialized Training topics that are or will be offered through NIDMAR.

Module S-530: CBDMA Auditor Preparation

This course covers the skills and knowledge needed to use the Consensus Based Disability Management Audit (CBDMA) including the collection of information required to score consensus, evidence and survey questions. The course content includes an overview of the audit and its development; how to identify and analyse relevant documents as part of the evidence-based component; how to set up and facilitate a representative group for the consensus component; administration of the survey questions; how to enter data on the online audit site and generate reports; and preparation of a final report for the audited organization including recommendations and a roadmap for the organization going forward. The auditing course will require an estimated 40 hours of study activity during the time of the online facilitation, which will take place as follows: Week 1 - facilitated online training; Week 2 - facilitated online training; Week 3 - no activities this week; Week 4 - facilitated online training; Week 5 - facilitated online training; Week 6 - one week to complete the final assignment. The study activity will include readings, quizzes, practice using the audit website, exercises, online discussion of various aspects of the audit, and a mid-course as well as final assignment. Successful completion of the course is required to become a Certified CBDMA Auditor. Cost of the course is $1,650.00. Enrollment is limited to those individuals working for an organization having a valid CBDMA license agreement with NIDMAR.
