2026 marks the final year to access provincial funding for workplace disability management assessments. These assessments strengthen return to work processes for employees facing illness, injury, or longer-term disabilities; significantly reduce costs and liabilities; retain and engage skilled employees; and support compliance with provincial requirements for maintaining employment and Accessibility Plans. Upon completion, workplaces may also qualify for an additional subsidy to support implementing recommended improvements, subject to remaining funding.
