Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations (SAHO)

Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations (SAHO) is a non-profit, non-governmental association of health organizations in Saskatchewan, whose members include Saskatchewan's regional health authorities, the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, independent hospitals and special care homes, as well as various agencies and associations that provide health services, education and/or regulations.

SAHO provides its more than 160 members with leadership, services and a common voice. The association was formed on July 1, 1993, through the amalgamation of the Saskatchewan Health-Care Association, Saskatchewan Association of Special Care Homes, and the Saskatchewan Home Care Association.

It is committed to communicating openly and honestly; building partnerships based on trust and understanding; fostering relationships built on respect, teamwork and learning; demonstrating loyalty, commitment and accountability to those it serves; and striving for continuous improvement.

"The Consensus Based Disability Management Audit provides SAHO's membership an opportunity to evaluate their disability management performance. This is a service we can provide to our membership that they can't get from anyone else in the province."
